I am sure most of you have noticed a couple of changes at Article Moose.com.

We have changed the default pictures on the featured authors to a cartoon moose. Hey most authors dont upload pictures and the old pictures we had were just well...  not real good looking. The moose is kinda cute and it goes with the theme of the site.

 We have added a couple of advertising spots on the front page. Please go check them out, you will be pleasantly surprised.

I have decided to give up on installing "article Dashboard". It doesn't work for me. Maybe it's just me. Probably It's just me.

I have been trying to install it on my "hostgator" account for over a week and I have decided I will look for another  article directory script.

I tried everything I know to make it work . Like I said, I am an electrician not a programmer. I need something that is point and shoot . I will keep you informed.

First, a little about me.

I am an electrician, I have no programming skills and I have to learn everything step by step just as many of you have. My definition of a plugin and a web programmer's definition would be totally different.

But.. I managed to get this site up and running. Of course to most website programmers this site is childs play to install. I had a heck of a time with it. I also got a link directory going on another site. You might want to check it out. http://icanndoit.zxq.net/phpLD/ . Hey submit a link and do me a favor and add my link on your page.

But this is about my trying to start an article directory.It's still not working but here is the first steps I have taken so far.

I First had to get cheap web hosting. No Problem . I went to HostGator.com . They have a number of specials and all were very reasonable. It took me awhile to figure them out but I ended up buying my domain names at GoDaddy.com and I got some free hosting with that purchase.

So now I have sites hosted at GoDaddy and At HostGator. Maybe to much huh?

Next time I will tell about downloading the article dashboard script.
